Alec Keating, President of family-owned Keating Resources, announced this week that the company celebrated the 56th lot closing, surpassing $20,000,000 in closed lot sales over the last 18 months at the four company-owned and developed mountaintop communities in western South Dakota, known to many as the Black Hills. To date, buyers have come from 10 different states.

The communities are located near Spearfish, SD, Deadwood, SD, and Lead, SD, and include Deer Mountain Village, Spearfish Mountain Ranch, Wildflower Estates, and the recently released Three Peaks Ranch. The company developed a total of 300 lots ranging from 1 to 90 acres.

All four communities have the same infrastructure: gated entrances, asphalt roads, high-speed fiber, electric power, and municipal water. Keating said the company will release the next phase of Deer Mountain Village over the next 60 days. Deer Mountain also includes a private clubhouse with a pool, snow tubing, hiking trails, and 400 acres of private forest.

Keating Resources is owned by Gerard and Alec Keating. The company invests in real estate in Florida, Texas, South Dakota, and Nebraska and has offices in Atkinson, Nebraska, and Dallas, Texas.
