Keating Resources proudly marked its naming sponsorship of the Keating Resources Sportsplex at Sky Ridge with a ribbon cutting ceremony on September 25, 2024. Since its soft-opening in April, the facility has already welcomed over 35,000 visitors, with up to 1,000 attendees each evening. The grand opening is expected in the spring of 2025.

Alec Keating expressed his excitement about the Sportsplex’s role in uniting the community. “This facility will serve as a place for everyone to enjoy,” he said. “We’re honored to support this important project.”

The Sportsplex, developed in partnership with the City of Spearfish and Spearfish Parks & Recreation, will be a hub for local tournaments and events. Spearfish Parks & Recreation Director Tyler Ehnes praised the five-year effort to bring the project to life and highlighted the collaboration that made it possible.
