Gerard Keating, CEO of Keating Resources, has announced the sale of a 51,700-square-foot building situated on 6 acres at 125 Industrial Drive in Spearfish, South Dakota, to The Salvation Army. Keating Resources purchased the long-vacant building from the Polaris Corporation in January 2021 and invested $1 million to upgrade and reposition the property for multi-tenant storage, including self-storage under the brand The Hills Self Storage. This strategic investment brought the building’s occupancy to over 75% at the time of sale.

Major Jerry O’Neil, BH Coordinator, announced that the organization will relocate to the new facility from their existing 6,500 square foot building in Spearfish starting October 1, 2024.
