Alec Keating, President of Keating Resources, announced that the firm completed the 700-acre residential community, branded Spearfish Mountain Ranch, located between Spearfish, SD, and Whitewood, SD with easy access to Interstate 90. Keating said that the privately gated, low-density community is one-of-a-kind in the Black Hills with only 27 mountain top home sites set in a virgin forest at an elevation of 4200’ with spectacular views, some up to 30 miles.

Keating said that the community consists of fifteen 2 to 5-acre lots and twelve 41+ acre branded estate ranch parcels. All parcels are served by a 24’ asphalt road, municipal water, electric, and two high-speed fiber providers.

Keating said 12 of the 27 lots were sold at completion. David Peterson with Rapid City-based Specialty Properties is the listing agent for the remaining lots.

Keating complemented their design team, which includes Spearfish, SD-based Johner & Son which completed infrastructure installation, Rapid City, SD-based Towey Design which designed the water system, and Randy Deibert with Spearfish-based Black Hills Surveying which provided surveying and platting services.
